The other article I speak of is about the world of
parralel processing. This gives an in depth review of
hardware in this area and is a good read if you're into
that sort of thing.
An earlier issue of the mag apparently came with a free
virus, and despite the devotion of part of the editorial
and a whole separate article, to the subject, no one
actually seemed to be able to apologise for what could
potentially wreck someones software collection. Anyway,
despite this, they've learnt ther lesson now, and they use
the Pineapple/Acorn virus software, so I doubt any more
viruses will be present on future disks.
Music in the magazine part was non existant and the
only sound occurs when a rather sad "welcome to illusions
disk magazine" sample is played at the start (although
some trackers are included separately on the PD disks).
The boredom can be relieved however, by the PD disks
enclosed with the mag. A Selection of PD utilities and
games can be found, all supplied by the Datafile PD.
So, all in all, what do get for your £3.00? Well, one
or two decent articles, and a range of PD that you haven't
just picked from a PD catalogue. Is it worth it? If you've
